The 65th annual event will be held on June 12 on 5th Avenue in Manhattan. The event is live in-person after two years off due to the pandemic. This year's parade will be dedicated to Cidra which is also referred to as the Town of Eternal Spring, or el Pueblo de la Eterna Primavera in Puerto Rico.

After a three-year hiatus, the annual NYC celebrate Israel Parade, a project of JCRC-NY, returns to Fifth Avenue on May 22 starting at 57th Street. This year’s theme, “Together Again” will dominate at the parade, considered the world’s largest gathering to celebrate the State of Israel.

The Met announced on Friday that the Cantor Roof Garden, along with the Roof Garden Bar, will be reopening on May 19. The bar offers cocktails and wine, as well as some small bites from Bon Appetit. The Roof Garden bar will be open Sunday-Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m., and on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. until 8:30 p.m.

The NYC Pride March will take place on Sunday, June 26 in Manhattan with five grand marshals. Social media star Ts Madison; transgender former NCAA swimmer Schuyler Bailar; ACLU attorney Chase Strangio; “Saturday Night Live” cast member Punkie Johnson; and Okra Project Executive Director Dominique Morgan. There will be PrideFest, street fair, Pride Island, music festival and youth pride. This is the first time since the pandemic started in 2020 that New York City’s Pride programming has returned to a fully in-person lineup.

The Melodia Women's Choir will feature American roots music in Manhattan on Sunday, May 22 at 3pm in Chelsea. Presented by Artistic Director Cynthia Powell, the unique concert offers uplifting and affirming music that reimagines American Roots music for women's voices. The choir will be accompanied by the Melodia Bluegrass Band, an all-women's bluegrass band formed for this concert.
