NY AG released page transcripts on Andrew Cuomo

The NY Attorney General Letitia James released a 515 page interview with the former governor Andrew Cuomo. The transcripts also includes interviews with many of the 11 women who accused Cuomo of sexual harassment. The dates shows July 17 when James started the interview as part of the investigation. NYC school buses to go electric

The bill, Intro455-A, was signed into a law on November 7. The bill outlines that all NYC school buses must be full electric by 2035. This includes private hired vehicles for the city. Both the city and private contractor companies must report to the mayor and council on the implementation targets. This is part of the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill that was passed. $5 billion will be allotted to electric school buses and cleaner alternatives in infrastructure investment and jobs act.


Mad rush welcome at local airports

Today, the travel resumed from international shores to the US after the vaxx ban ended. Almost 20 months of restriction was lifted today. Two airlines, British Airways and Virgin Atlantic departed from Heathrow within minutes to JFK and landed with passengers meeting their family and friends after a long gap. Canada and Mexico borders also opened.

The new requirements are foreign air passengers must have a negative test before boarding the plane, and, if they are 18 or older, show proof of full vaxx. Travelers entering the U.S. on land or by ferry for nonessential reasons must show proof of vaxx.

Around 8:45 am, Times Square in NYC showed the new sign "Welcome Back World" promoting tourism. More than 2 million international flights are set to arrive in the US next month. The NY governor announced $100 million for tourism workers along with $2,700 one time payment to those who were not able to work. Another $25 million for advertising and $25 million incentive for convention centers to boost visitors.


NYC marathon has announced the winners today

Albert Korir of Kenya won the New York City Marathon men’s race Sunday, two years after coming in second. Peres Jepchirchir of Kenya pulled away at the entrance to Central Park and became the first woman to win a marathon major in the fall after winning an Olympic gold medal. The field was cut by about 40% to around 30,000 runners, with efforts made to maintain distance between competitors near the start and finish lines. Marcel Hug of Switzerland won the men’s wheelchair race for the fourth time, finishing more than 6 1/2 minutes ahead of the next racer for his first title since 2017. Australia's Madison de Rozario won the women’s wheelchair race, holding off past champions Tatyana McFadden and Manuela Schär for her first Big Apple victory. 


Usman vs Covington at the garden

The anticipated event between two UFC fighters, Usman vs Covington is on schedule for tomorrow at Madison Square Garden. The main event is slated for 10pm slot and is only on PPV if not attending in person. This is a welterweight bout. Also this is a rematch after Usman won last December 19 in Las Vegas.
